Restaurant and bar brand Searcys is set to open a new champagne bar in Battersea Power Station this autumn.

Following on from its vintage Rolls Royce Champagne Coupé pop-up, the Searcys Champagne Bar will open on Level 1 in the Power Station’s Art Deco Turbine Hall A on 18 October.

The 76-cover bar and dining space will feature a mix of deep blue velvet seating with polished brass detailing, a 15-cover marble-topped bar and a semi-private recessed booth, available to book for up to 10 guests. There will be brass ‘Press for Champagne’ buzzers at each table.

It will serve an extensive selection of champagne and English sparkling wine accompanied by a food menu that will focus on a seasonal selection of fresh seafood, including a signature shellfish platter, along cured meats and salad options.

“We are excited to be expanding south of the river to launch within the fantastic retail and gastronomic hub at Battersea Power Station,” says Searcys managing director Paul Jackson comments.

“We are pleased to be taking the next step with a permanent site in the Turbine Hall. As connoisseurs of champagne since 1847, we want to create an experience which showcases our hand-picked selection for our guests to enjoy.”

The new launch joins the company’s collection of bars, including Searcys at the Gherkin, The Champagne Bar at St Pancras and The Champagne Bar at 116 Pall Mall.
