Harrods has announced the complete line-up for its soon to be relaunched The Dining Hall.

As previously reported, Masayoshi ‘Masa’ Takayama will be the headline act, but the largely US-based sushi master will be joined by three other high-profile international chefs.

First up is ramen-specialist Neha Mishra. Her Kinoya Ramen Bar is coming to London following success in Dubai, with the restaurant currently rated 7th in the Middle East & Africa 50 Best Restaurants list.

Next is Assembly Mezze & Skewers from celebrated Greek-born-but-Canada-raised chef Athanasios Kargatzidis. The 25-cover site will offer a luxury take on mezze with a focus on grill and flame cookery and will join Kargatzidis’ existing restaurants in Beirut, Dubai and Portugal.

Finally, two-Michelin-star Verona-based chef Giancarlo Perbellini will collaborate with Pasta Evangelists, which already operates a 28-seat pasta bar in the Dining Hall. Pasta Evangelists by Perbellini will offer antipasti including baby octopus bruschetta and burrata with charred nectarines; and pasta dishes including rigatoni ‘cacio e pepe’.

Tom Kerridge will continue to operates his 22-seat Tom Kerridge’s Fish & Chips within the ornate basement space, which was overhauled just ahead of the pandemic to become more restaurant-focused.

Harrods has also developed in-house concept The Grill, a 52-cover space that will offer high-end steak from all over the world alongside Rôtisserie chicken.

“This new evolution of The Dining Hall, one of the most iconic spaces within Harrods, will introduce an array of phenomenal new restaurants for guests to enjoy alongside exceptional cocktails, as well as live music and entertainment,” says Harrods director of restaurants and kitchens Ashley Saxton.

“Providing a truly unique dining experience for an evening out, this is the next step to support our vision of building Harrods as a leading late night dining destination in London.”

The Dining Hall will also offer live music from Tuesday to Saturday and a cocktail programme that will see mixologists take inspiration from each chef to create ‘bespoke’ drinks.

The Dining Hall is now closed and will reopen in October, with reservations now open for 7 October onwards.

This year is also expected to see cult Singaporean-born barbecue restaurant Burnt Ends launch within the world-famous Knightsbridge department store.
