Jackson Boxer to launch restaurant at Selfridges
Brunswick House and Orasay chef Jackson Boxer will launch a ‘long term residency’ within Selfridges The Corner restaurant towards the end of the month.

Jackson Boxer at The Corner will offer an ‘exclusive experimental, seasonal menu’ when it launches on 22 September.

Dishes will include gildas made with fermented baby beetroot, pickled mushroom and smoked eel; iced langoustine tail with a mayonnaise made from the roasted heads and shell and a salsa of shallots and green chilli; and a fried veal sandwich.

Sweets at the restaurant - which is on the Oxford Street department store’s second floor - will include Cru Virunga dark chocolate mousse with caramelised white chocolate cream, malted chocolate tuille and a sharp goat’s milk sorbet.

Jackson’s dishes will be served on Serax ‘La Mère’ tableware by Marie Michielssen.

Boxer recently helped Experimental Restaurant Group launch Cowley Manor in the Cotswolds as chef consultant.

Towards the end of last year, he previewed a new restaurant concept called Lumette at 180 The Strand but a date has yet to be set for its launch.
