Daisy Green Collection is relocating its Ziggy Green restaurant in Mayfair to larger premises.

The restaurant group's site at 1 Heddon Street will close on 31 August with the group relocating the restaurant just a few doors down to 4 Heddon Street.

The corner site will have space for alfresco dining and is expected to open before Q3 this year following a substantial refurbishment involving some of the UK’s top artists.

The restaurant takes its named from Ziggy Stardust, the alien rock star alter ego of David Bowie and will showcase different facets of Bowie’s life and work alongside late-night cocktails and a brand new Syndey-inspired menu.

The move is another development for the antipodean restaurant group, which recently opened Audrey Green within the newly refurbished National Portrait Gallery in London.

Located on the ground floor and vaults of the Weston Wing, the restaurant operate as a café and brunch spot during the day before pivoting to becoming a late-night bar and small plates restaurant in the evening.
