Launched in 2014 by former investment banker Jonathan Recanati, the Square Mile-centric brand says it is on a mission to serve Londoners ‘honest food straight from farm-to-fork’.
The brand is geared towards breakfast and lunch service, with options including egg pots, toast and rolls and customisable ‘field’ trays and bowls.
‘Mindfully-sourced’ and scratch-cooked on site, dishes include chermoula chicken, green chickpea tahini; and kale and miso slaw.
Now backed by private equity firm Imbiba, the group offers eat-in, click-and-collect, delivery and office catering services.
According to Farmer J's website, a further site, in Picadilly, is set to open soon.
