A Sushidog in Marylebone’s Baker Street will launch towards the end of this month followed by a site on The Strand next month.
The grab-and-go units will join existing SushiDog sites in Soho, Covent Garden, Bishopsgate and Westfield London and will offer the group’s new menu, which launched earlier this month.
The offer is centred around SushiDog’s signature sushi rolls and bowls. New menu items include the Asian chicken salad; yuzu truffle tuna salad; signature salmon roll; and teriyaki chicken roll, as well as new ‘build your own’ options such as sticky soy cauliflower and yuzu sour cream.
“We are excited to bring our rolls, bowls and salads to two new central London locations, offering local office workers, residents and visitors in the area a healthy and vibrant meal,” says co-founder Greg Ilsen.
“Over the past five years, we have built a loyal brand following which has gone from strength to strength. We can’t wait to start this next chapter in our journey, whilst we continue to thrive and seek out opportunities for future growth.”
SushiDog was founded in August 2017 by Ilsen and Nick Goldstein and started trading from a kiosk at Westfield London in May 2018, with its first bricks-and-mortar site in Covent Garden opening in 2020.
As well as the confirmed new central London sites, SushiDog is working on a pipeline of further stores, targeting an additional four locations in 2024.
