Restaurant group Sticks’n’Sushi has announced it will open two new restaurants in London.

The first will open in Kingston upon Thames this October, and will be the Danish-Japanese restaurant group’s biggest restaurant to date. It will be followed by Richmond in early 2024.

The 220-cover Kingston restaurant will be set over two floors with a large external terrace ane be located on the corner of Wood Street and Clarence Street in the Bentall Centre.

Richmond will be the group’s 13th UK restaurant and will open on the corner of George Street and King Street in the middle of the town.

The group says that it is aiming to replicate the success of its first UK restaurant in Wimbledon, which opened 11 years ago. “We have had South West London on our wish list of locations ever since our first opening in Wimbledon during the year of the summer Olympics. It brings us great joy to announce that we will be opening these new restaurants in two landmark buildings located at the heart of their neighbourhoods,” says group CEO Andreas Karlsson.

“South West London is an area close to our heart and origins, we are eagerly awaiting for the opportunity to welcome new and loyal guests to enjoy the Sticks’n’Sushi experience.”
