Pizza Pilgrims will open its 20th restaurant this summer, which will launch alongside a new deli concept selling Italian produce and dry store goods.

Opening on 1 July, the 50-cover site in London’s Queen’s Park will serve Pizza Pilgrims’s signature menu, which specialises in slow-proved Neapolitan pizzas.

Alongside the restaurant, the new pizzeria will also house a takeaway deli offering ingredients used throughout Pizza Pilgrims's menu including ’00’ flour from Naples' Caputo mill; buffalo mozzarella from Latteria Sorretina; and jars of house-made ‘La Bomba’ chilli oil.

“We are so excited to be opening on potentially our new favourite street in London on Lonsdale Road in Queen’s Park,” says James Elliot, who founded Pizza Pilgrims with his brother, Thom, back in 2011.

“The new restaurant is a beautiful building and we’ve already found the area be the kind of place where neighbours unthinkingly introduce themselves and welcome you!

“As always, we look forward to firing up the oven and serving some Neapolitan pizza to the good people of Queen’s Park. We will also be introducing a new ‘deli’ concept where people can purchase amazing Italian ingredients to take away.”

The bulk of Pizza Pilgrims’s estate is based in London, but the group does also operate regional sites in Oxford, Cambridge, Brighton and Nottingham, the latter of which opened earlier this year.
