Pizza Hut franchise group Zaf Holdings has acquired the P.F. Chang’s flagship London site in Leicester Square, as well as the brand's master franchise rights in the UK.

P.F. Chang’s is an American-founded, Asian fusion casual dining restaurant chain. It opened its first and only site on 10-11 Great Newport Street in 2017 under the name P.F. Chang’s Asian Table.

The brand was previously operated in the UK by Shake Shack UK operator Diverse Dining, which is owned by the Kuwait-based Alshaya Group.

Based globally in Arizona and owned by TriArtisan Capital Advisors since 2019, the Asian-American concept has 300 locations in 22 countries.

Zaf Holdings is headquartered in Hertfordshire, led by Arif Jivraj and operates at least 27 Pizza Hut takeaway franchises.

In 2021 it posted turnover of £21.7m and profit before tax of £2.3m.

Kishore Jukhoop, director of finance and operations at Zaf, said: “Delighted to share that Zaf Holdigs Ltd has acquired the only and Flagship P.F. Chang’s in the UK situated at Leicester Square, Great Newport Street, London!

“We have also secured the brand’s master franchise rights in the UK! Looking forward to this new venture and growing this amazing brand in the UK! Watch this space for some more P.F. Chang’s coming your way soon.”
