Coco Canary Wharf will be the group’s second location in the capital and will sit on West India Quay’s North Dock.
The c. 5,000sq ft site will have an emphasis on outdoor dining with two terrace areas each holding 100 covers featuring alongside a 50-cover indoor dining room.
Coco launched its first site, Coco Tower Bridge, in June 2021. A second concept, Coco Asia, opened in Thurrock, Essex, in March 2022.
Coco Canary Wharf will follow a similar model to the Tower Bridge restaurant, with a menu of Anatolian-inspired dishes.
They will include an asado lamb shank marinated in soy and coconut sugar; black cod marinated in kefir lime and miso and served with lemon chili mayonnaise and pak choi; and dry aged wagyu steak with mixed leaves, sumac dressing and truffle mayonnaise.
The drinks menu will be entirely alcohol free, as it is the offering across the group’s entire estate.
Options include a range of non-alcoholic wines, beers and spirits, with a ‘signature’ range of ‘redemption’ cocktails designed to be paired with the restaurant’s food menu.
Designed to appeal to the Instagram crowd, the restaurant’s décor is described as ‘bold’ with a ‘warmly luxe atmosphere’.
