The team behind street food outfit Bad Boy Pizza Society is to launch a new sandwich concept at Vinegar Yard in London Bridge next month.

Called The Experimental Sandwich Shop, the new concept is inspired by the founder’s recent trip to New York and will specialise in Italian-style ‘hero’ sandwiches.

Available to eat-in on Vinegar Yard’s terrace or take away from a hatch on St Thomas Street, The Experimental Sandwich Shop will serve a regularly changing menu of hot and cold fillings including a meatball sub; grilled chicken Caesar; and aubergine parmigiana.

There will also be specials including chicken bruschetta; porchetta and salsa verde; and vodka chicken parmigiana.

All sandwiches will be priced between £8 and £12.

Founded in 2018 by university friends Charlie Reeves, Josh Oliver, Sam Clowes and Henry Hill, Bad Boy Pizza Society runs pizza stands at Vinegar Yard, Seven Dials Market and the National Theatre.

The Experimental Sandwich Shop will operate alongside Bad Boy Pizza Society’s stall in Vinegar Yard.

It will be offering 50% off all sandwiches during the soft launch on Thursday 6 April, before officially opening the following day (Friday 7 April).
