Romain Fargette and Alexis Colletta will bring their clubby Brazilian-styled fusion restaurant and bar Mano back to Mayfair later this month.

The pair launched Mano on Heddon Street last March but the site closed unexpectedly just ahead of Christmas.

This first iteration of the venture - which served a Brazil-inspired menu overseen by Masterchef: The Professionals semi-finalist Luciana Berry - is now being referred to as a pop-up, although it was not billed as such at the time.

Launching on 31 March on Mill Street, Mano Mayfair - as it is now called - will be under the culinary direction of high-profile Brazilian chef Rafa Gomes, who runs three restaurants in his native Brazil alongside a venture in Paris.

Full detals on the food have yet to be released, but diners can expect an ‘exquisite menu showcasing his reputable authentic Brazilian fusion cuisine’.

“I am thrilled to see Mano Mayfair return to London. It’s the answer to what the London nightlife scene is missing,” Colletta says.

“We want to offer a memorable, all-round dining experience where guests can stay for a dance against a backdrop of house music and pulsating beats, before continuing their night at neighbouring nightclubs. We very much look forward to seeing the return of our previous guests as well as welcoming the new ones.”

It is unclear whether Fargette and Colletta will go ahead with their second London restaurant Yuca, which was slated to open in the former Mews of Mayfair site last summer.
