According to The Sun, the currently 110-strong brand is searching for sites of between 2,000sq ft and 4,000sq ft with space for at least 20 cars across London and the South East.
Gail’s is yet to confirm if any specific locations have been chosen as potential sites for opening.
The group, which has added 10 new stores since reaching its 100-store milestone across the UK in October 2022, has previously said it is keen to ‘take advantage of different real estate opportunities’ in the UK market.
The high-end bakery café chain opened a smaller format store in London’s Kensington Arcade in October 2022 with a takeaway focus.
This year also saw the brand open its first store in the North of the UK in Wilmslow, Cheshire, with two further sites slated to open in Manchester before the end of the year.
Gail’s launched its first site, in London’s Hampstead High Street in 2005, and is now backed by private equity firm McWin.
