Be Inclusive Hospitality launches its 2023 Inside Hospitality Survey
Conceived in November 2020, the annual survey of employees and entrepreneurs from all backgrounds and career levels examines the current state of affairs regarding equity, diversity and inclusion within the hospitality sector with the aim of accelerating race equity in the sector.
Topics explored include careers in hospitality, bias, discrimination, inclusion, learning and development.

“I have definitely seen some small steps forward since the first survey release back in 2020, but as an industry, we need to move towards taking strides, finally confronting the visible disparities that ethnic minorities face within the hospitality sector,” says Lorraine Copes, Be Inclusive Hospitality founder.
“The success of this survey is very much reliant on the entire industry getting behind it, as we are keen to surpass the 2022 numbers of 1,000 responses to paint a comprehensive and representative picture of the sector.”
This year’s research will be delivered in partnership with Ulster University and the University of West London.

Due for a June 2023 release, the survey findings will be summarised in the annual Inside Hospitality Report, a free of charge resource available to download digitally.
The report will presented at an event that will outline the key findings along with practical steps that hospitality businesses should seriously consider taking to move the dial forward towards race equity.
