Shake Shack is boosting its presence in prime central London locations with the opening of a restaurant in Oxford Circus later this month.

The new site will be the US burger brands 12th location in the capital and will launch on 27 January serving its classic menu items such as the signature Shack Burger, crinkle-cut fries, flat-top dogs, as well as special menu items unique to the Oxford Street venue.

It will be the first Shake Shack within the group with a vertically orientated kitchen. The interior will feature finishes such as brushed stainless steel and a colour palette of green and grey.

The Oxford Street site will donate 5% of sales of its Sticky Crossing concrete to FoodCycle, a national charity that provides nutritious three-course community meals, using surplus food, to anyone who needs them.

Shake Shack operates restaurants in London locations including Covent Garden, where it made its UK debut, Leicester Square, Tottenham Court Road, Brent Cross, Victoria, and Swiss Cottage. It also operates two non-London locations in Cardiff and at Gatwick airport.
