Hostech conference to be held in February 2023

Hospitality technology conference Hostech will return next year with speakers from companies including BAO, Burger King, Mollies, and Wonderland Restaurants.

The conference, which is organised by BigHospitality and sister title MCA, will be held at London’s Ham Yard Hotel on Wednesday 8 February and will feature a range of presentations, insight and panel discussions on the wide-ranging topic of how technology is helping to shape the hospitality sector.

Speakers at the event include Tim Love, Burger King’s director of digital, who will discuss the fast food chain’s app-based rewards scheme, including its aims and objectives, the technology used and the results so far.

Darren Sweetland, managing director at diner and motel brand Mollies will talk about the role technology plays in the company as it looks to grow and its importance in appealing to Mollies’ tech-savvy demographic; and Inamo’s Lee Skinner and Noel Hunwick will provide insight into the restaurant group’s recently installed fully touch-sensitive tables and discuss the company’s its tech journey and the role tech now plays in its business.

The event will also include a panel on promotions, loyalty and targeted marketing with speakers from restaurant brands Abokado, BAO and Chopstix, and look at the use of tech in the world of fine dining with a presentation from James Bulmer, founder at Wonderland Restaurants and Park Row London.
