Neapolitan pizza restaurant Crust Bros will open its third and fourth sites this month in Boxpark locations.

The first of the new launches will open in Croydon’s Boxpark later this week with a second opening in Boxpark Shoreditch later in the month. The new restaurants will join the brand’s existing venues in Waterloo and Wandsworth.

Menu items at the Croydon restaurant will include a classic margherita; Pure Fire - made with mozzarella, basil, chicken, chillies, red onions, and chilli oil; and The Truffle Hunter - a white base pizza topped with mozzarella, parmesan, mushrooms and truffle oil.

Crust Bros was founded by Joe Moore in 2014 selling pizzas in street food markets across London, including Last Days of Shoreditch and Street Feast. Following a stint at a shipping container on the Southbank, and London’s best breweries including Camden Town, Fourpure and Beavertown, the first bricks and mortar Crust Bros opened in Waterloo in 2017. Its second site opened at Sambrook’s Brewery Tap in Wandsworth in 2021.

“Boxpark feels like a homecoming for Crust Bros,” says Moore. “Having started on the street food scene of London and trading as a pop-up at BOXPARK Shoreditch for a few weekends back in 2014, I’m so psyched to be launching two permanent sites with Boxpark eight years later”

Lats year Crust Bros said it intended to open a restaurant in Balham in south London but the site never materialised. The company says it will announce further openings ‘very soon’.
