Located on the ground-floor of the 602-seat theatre, the 70-cover restaurant is being headed up by Constantin Apostum previously at The Standard Hotel.
He has created a menu that focuses on British and European produce, with dishes to include cauliflower and stilton croquettes with piquillo ketchup; pumpkin ravioli, spinach, parmesan foam, and aleppo pepper; chicken schnitzel with slaw and cayenne mayo; Hereford 28-day aged rib eye and fries.
Desserts will include a Basque cheesecake with Earl Grey infusion; and chocolate mousse with mascarpone and pistachio.
The dining room will have a central 25-seat bar, banquette seating and constellation artwork. A cocktail menu will be serves with drinks having theatrical or astrological references.
It will also serve a short international wine list of 60 bins.
The theatre, from entertainment entrepreneur Nica Burns, is the first new West End theatre to open in 50 years. It will launch at 4 Soho Place on 15 October with ‘Marvellous’ as its debut production.
