Opening in Mossley Hill in South Liverpool the new restaurant will be located on Storrsdale Road. It will join the brand’s debut restaurant, located on Liverpool’s bold Street, as well as its dark kitchen in Manchester’s Ardwick.
The new restaurant is described as being a hybrid between a restaurant and takeaway and will serve its range of chicken or pork gyros; and chicken or pork souvlaki skewers.
There is also a new dedicated vegan menu named Laros Green that will feature options such as marinated oyster mushrooms cooked in gyros spices with tomatoes, lettuce, red onion, fries and vegan tzatziki. Other gyros fillings include revithokeftedes (chickpea fritters), kolokithokeftedes (courgette fritters) and ntomatokeftedes (tomato cakes).
The new venue will also have an expanded menu and will open for breakfast for the first time serving Greek pastries such as loukoumades - Greek donut balls served with options that include lavender and honey syrup; white chocolate and hazelnut; milk chocolate; and pistachio as well as a vegan option.
“We’re really excited to be opening in the heart of south Liverpool and can’t wait to welcome the local neighbourhood and beyond to Laros,” says Crete-born owner Nikolaos Fylladitakis.
“We want to continue to share real, authentic Greek cuisine with our guests, made with only the highest quality ingredients and fresh each time.”
Laros opened on Bold Street in May 2021 and had expanded to Manchester with a dark kitchen within six months.
