Hom Malass has launched a third Drunch restaurant in London following the upmarket restaurant brand's success in Mayfair and St John’s Wood.

In Fitzrovia, the new site will feature a separate subterranean ‘speakeasy’ called Kave and will have a kitchen headed by Valerio Vivetti, whose CV includes Doppio Zero in San Francisco, Somma in Norway, Convivium Fulham and The Lanesborough.

The new is being overseen by partner and director of Drunch Fitzrovia Luca Mazzoncini, who previously worked as director of IT Restaurants, which has a large portfolio of lifestyle restaurants in places including London, Ibiza, Milan, Tulum and Mykonos.

Currently in soft launch, the 40-cover Great Titchfield Street venue is open for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner.

Vivetti has created an all day dining menu with Mediterranean influences that includes red prawn carpaccio; wagyu toast; Alaskan king crab; and ravioli ricotta and black truffle.

Guests can enter Kave through a ‘secretive’ unmarked door on Great Titchfield Street. Kave features an extensive cocktail menu, live named DJs and a sharing style menu with Mediterranean touches.

The interiors have been created by designer Valerie von Bechtolsheim, whose previous clients include Gold Notting Hill.

“We are thrilled to be expanding Drunch, with this venue we really want to push the foodie offering and have brought Chef Vivetti onboard to deliver this," says Mass.

“When we found the Fitzrovia site we were delighted by the hidden space in the basement and immediately wanted to create a bespoke speakeasy, a new concept for us. We can’t wait to open.”
