Control Room B will be located within the Grade II listed power station’s old 1950s control room and will be a 180-cover bar located on a mezzanine floor overlooking one of the power station’s two giant turbine halls.
Opening on 14 October, the bar opens out onto Turbine Hall B, which still has the original control desks and switch dials from when the power station was in operation.
The bar will serve a range of drinks including champagne, coffee as well as a signature menu of 10 premium cocktails in the evening. It will also serve a menu of snacks and pastries.
The bar, which is owned by Inception Group, joins a raft of food and drink operators opening within the former power station's historic Turbine Halls and Boiler House, which include Le Bab, Clean Kitchen Club, Where The Pancakes Are; and Poke House.
JKS Restaurants is also bringing its food hall concept Arcade to Battersea Power Station next year. The 24,000sq ft food hall will be nearly twice the size of the original Arcade which opened at London's Centre Point earlier this year.
