Representatives from the UK's best restaurants to speak at this month's Restaurant Conference

Chefs and restaurateurs from this year’s National Restaurant Awards will be speaking as part of this year’s Restaurant Conference.

Amy Corbin, co-founder at Kudu Collective; Will Murray, head chef at Fallow; Sertaç Dirik, co-owner of Mangal 2; and Imogen Davis, co-founder of Native, will be part of a panel discussing how they are innovating and standing out from the crowd in competitive restaurant space.

They will be joined at the conference, being held on 22 September at The Marriott Grosvenor Square, by business leaders from across the hospitality sector, including Baton Berisha, the newly announced managing director at Wolseley Hospitality Group.

The former CEO of the Ivy Collection will share the structures and processes of people management.

Also speaking at the conference will be McDonald’s UK&I COO Gareth Pearson, JKS Restaurants CEO Jyotin Sethi, Mowgli Street Food founder Nisha Katona MBE, and Pizza Hut Restaurants CEO Jens Hofma.

Pearson will share learnings from the brand’s £250m Convenience of the Future programme and how the project future-proofs the business for an omnichannel world in an exclusive Q&A.

Jyotin Sethi will discuss the unique commercial approach that has seen the eclectic group tackle so many different cuisines and categories.

Nisha Katona will speak about brand culture and consistency and growing Mowgli Street Food to 20 sites and counting.

Laura Harper-Hinton, co-founder and CEO of Caravan Restaurants and Coffee Roasters, will also be speaking at the conference, talking about the how the brand’s well-travelled, all-day offer has kept it in a strong position during testing times.
