The news coincides with the business rebranding as Luxury Boutique Hotel & Restaurants (LBHR).
LBHR is a membership platform for independent UK hotels and high-end restaurants and was founded in 2020.
Part of management company Optimum - which is owned and managed by hoteliers Gregor and Claire Ritchie - it offers operational and marketing support to privately-owned hotels and restaurants seeking access to UK domestic leisure and corporate markets.
“With decades of experience in the gastronomic and luxury sector, the LBHR team aims to support its members and deliver crucial support and guidance to the top UK restaurants, restaurants with rooms and hotels," says Hackett, who joined the organisation in June this year.
“Our approach to every member is one of a collaborative partnership, understanding the business plan, dynamics, aims and objectives. We adopt an openness and honesty to help energise teams and fuel progress. The team of seasoned foodies will bring to the table an appetite for consultative feedback and training, which can help develop, motivate, and release the true potential of teams.”
LBHR co-founder, Gregor Ritchie, added: “Paul and I are excited about broadening our reach across the hospitality Industry. We look forward to extending LBHR’s unique service to both restaurants and the emerging restaurants with rooms market, which often go unrepresented.”
