Sticks’n’Sushi White City will be the group’s eighth restaurant in London and tenth restaurant across the UK and marks the 10-year anniversary of the restaurant group’s first opening the UK.
Located near the main entrance of shopping centre, the new 120-cover restaurant will be set across two floors and - like the rest of the estate - will drawing inspiration from both Japanese minimalism and Danish hygge (known as Japandi).
"We are delighted to be able to open another restaurant where we can welcome new and loyal guests," says group CEO Andreas Karlsson.
"This is a testament to our exceptional teams across the group who all contribute to our ongoing success. We are particularly proud to be able to create many more new jobs and opportunities for our employees."
Kate Orwin, leasing director for Westfield owner URW UK, added: “Sticks’n’Sushi will be joining almost 40 new food, leisure and retail signings across both Westfield centres this year and is an exciting addition within the casual dining concept, especially. We’re pleased to be able to offer consumers the fantastic Sticks’n’Sushi experience and menu when it opens at Westfield London later in the year.”
The brand reported a record year late last year with total revenues hitting £57m across the group’s estate, which includes sites in UK, Denmark and Germany.
The group said revenues in the UK surpassed those of Denmark, with employee retention and a popular takeaway offering helping to drive the strong result.
