Emerald Hospitality Group will launch southern French restaurant Riviera at the location in November following an extensive refurbishment.
The restaurant will have space for 170 covers inside with an additional 35 on its outdoor terrace.
“This is a very exciting launch. Arian and I have a deep appreciation for the south of France, a region that celebrates life, honouring friends and family reunions, artisanal fine art, and superb food. Riviera is set to represent and embody the luxurious lifestyle found in the South of France, in a unique London location,” says Alberto Zandi, co-founder of Emerald Hospitality Group.
Emerald Hospitality Group was founded by Spanish twins Arian and Alberto Zandi. The pair opened their first restaurant, Latin American-focused Zuaya, in Kensington in 2018, and followed this up in 2020 with the opening of Italian restaurant Como Garden next door.
They opened high-end Spanish restaurant El Norte on Mayfair’s Dover Street last year.
The brothers say they intend to open two restaurants every year including plans for international expansion in markets similar to London, including Dubai, New York and Miami.
