Richard Corrigan joins BaxterStorey and Searcys as chef partner

Richard Corrigan has joined BaxterStorey and sister company Searcys as its chef partner.

The Irish chef will lend his support in menu innovation and coaching as well as in developing new menus and signature dishes for BaxterStorey’s restaurants, as well as some of Searcys locations including the Gherkin, The Barbican and The Pump Room in Bath.

“It’s great to be back working with Searcys, BaxterStorey and the wider family, and to be part of mentoring the next generation of chefs,” says Corrigan.

“They work in some fantastic locations across the UK and the shared commitment to food provenance and unpretentious cooking makes it a match made in heaven!

Corrigan runs London restaurants Corrigan’s Mayfair, Bentley’s Oyster Bar & Grill, currently ranked at number 69 on the list of the UK’s Top 100 Restaurants, and Daffodil Mulligan and is due to open a new venue at canal-side development Hawley Wharf Camden.

He also runs estate,Virginia Park Lodge in Ireland and is soon to open The Park Café in Dublin.

Earlier this year chef Ruth Hansom joined BaxterStorey as a chef partner to will work closely with its Chef Academy.
