The reconfiguration has added an additional 20 covers to the 40 cover space and follows the creation of a 55-cover waterside terrace for al fresco dining.
The kitchen has been expanded to cope with what is now a 115-cover restaurant and the bar has been moved and expanded slightly.
The restaurant first opened its doors in 2016, sitting beside acclaimed sister restaurant Casamia in Bristol’s former General Hospital.
Named after the family patriarch, Paco Sanchez-Iglesias, Paco Tapas won a Michelin star within its first year with its simple-yet-finely-tuned Andalusian-inspired cuisine.
Menus are handwritten on brown paper and feature the likes of octopus a la gallega, tortilla Española and gambas al ajillo, as well as daily specials.
The expansion of Paco Tapas follows the news that Sanchez-Inglesias’ will close its doors on 20 August to make way for a new, more casual, restaurant.
