Opening side by side on 7 July, Carrubo and In Horto will both be outdoor focused and located close to TVG's flagship Flat Iron Square.
Carrubo is inspired by the bay side bars of the Mediterranean. The food will centre around a selection of light bites with a range of crostini including white crab avocado; ricotta and confit tomatoes; prosciutto, basil and crème fraiche; and smoked aubergine, basil, smoked salmon and cream cheese.
Drinks, meanwhile, will include wines on tap, cocktails, a spritz collection, and draft beers.
The space will be walk-in only and feature covered areas as well as outdoor seating.
Next door to Carrubo will be In Horto, which translates from Latin as ‘in the garden’ and is being positioned as a more rustic and refined dining experience.
Dishes are heartier than at Carrubo, and will include whole baked cauliflower with four-cheese potatoes; cod fillet with fire-roasted ratatouille; roast chicken with garlic potatoes and leeks; and slow-cooked lamb shoulder with harissa vegetables.
A broad wine list complements the menu, with a number of organic and biodynamic labels featuring.
The launch of Carrubo and In Horto comes amid a busy year for TVG, which counts Mumford & Sons founding member Ben Lovett among its backers.
Back in January, the group relocated Flat Iron Square, which it first launched in 2016, from its original location on the corner of Southwark Bridge Road and Union Street to a space a mere 200 feet on Southwark Street.
Then in the spring it launched a new restaurant, Audrey's, in the space that originally occupied Flat Iron Square.
TVG also operates Goods Way food hall and music venue in King's Cross.
