The Israeli chef-restaurateur founder will make his UK debut with a Miznon flagship in Soho this summer, followed by HaSalon in Notting Hill later in the year.
He is understood to be opening on a former Pret A Manger site on Broadwick Street, according to planning application.
Known for serving filled fluffy pita breads, Miznon takes inspiration from its host cities, including its “groove, its longings, its limitations, its beauty and its food, and express all of that in one pita”.
The landlord is Shaftesbury PLC while Alexander Mann of Hanover Green and Raven Rose acted on the Soho deal.
Oliver Muers-Raby of Orme Property acted on the Notting Hill deal, which was with a private landlord.
Shani has 23 successful restaurants worldwide, including several in Tel Aviv (Port Said, Romano, Miznon, North Abraxas, HaSalon and Malka) as well as Miznon locations in Vienna, Paris, Melbourne, Singapore and New York, and HaSalon and North Miznon in New York.
He reportedly has plans for 150 Miznon sites worldwide.
