Provisions' ad-hoc wine bar, which hasn't operated since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020, will run three nights a week between Wednesdays and Fridays. The retail space will transform from delicatessen to wine bar, seating up to 20 guests at the counter.
The wine offering will be focused on organic and biodynamic bins, and be served alongside a food menu curated to showcase some of Provision’s best produce that has been hand selected by founder Hugo Meyer Esquerré from small artisan suppliers across Europe.
In addition to pet mat, orange, red and white wines available by the glass, guests will be able to choose bottles from Provision’s wall of natural wines, with a small corkage, as well as a selection of special, old and rare bottles as advised by the team.
The food menu will see a rolling selection of cheese plates; cured meats ; and ‘feast boards’ composed of raw milk cheese and antipasti.
Provisions Wine & Cheese was founded in 2015 by Esquerré and stocks more than 100 cheeses and 120 wines, alongside deli goods, craft beers and fresh bread.
Earlier this year Provisions doubled up with a site in Hackney that features both a retail and restaurant space.
