Artfarm to unveil The Audley in Mayfair this autumn
Hospitality group Artfarm will launch its first London project, The Audley in Mayfair, this autumn.

The company behind The Fife Arms in Braemar and Somerset’s Roth Bar & Grill is transforming a five-storey Victorian building on the corner of Mayfair’s Mount Street and South Audley Street in a multi-faceted venue.

The development, which was first mooted back in 2020, will see Artfarm renovate and reopen the space that used to be The Audley pub under the same name and install a first-floor restaurant above it called Mount St. Restaurant.

The food at the venue will be overseen by chef Jamie Shears, previously executive chef at CUT, London, Wolfgang Puck’s restaurant at 45 Park Lane, and who has worked with Gordon Ramsay, Chris Galvin, and Jason Atherton.

The building’s top three floors will house four individually designed spaces that will be available for private hire.

Built in 1888, The Audley was designed by Thomas Verity, who designed the exterior of the pavilion at Lord’s Cricket Ground. The venue will be used a showcase specially commissioned art created by Hauser & Wirth’s roster of artists.

Artfarm was founded in 2014 by the Somerset-based gallerists and art collectors Iwan and Manuela Wirth. It opened its first restaurant, Roth Bar & Grill, as part of the Hauser & Wirth art centre in Bruton, Somerset. In 2018, it opened The Fife Arms in Braemar, Scotland, in a restored Victorian coaching inn.

Its other properties include Manuela restaurant in Los Angeles, Durslade Farmhouse and Durslade Farm Shop in Somerset.
