All-day London restaurant Lino, which closed last year, is to get a second lease of life after securing a new site on Lonsdale Road in Queen’s Park.

The restaurant, which originally launched in a former warehouse site in the City, will open in its new premises in September.

In an Instagram post, the restaurant team said: "We are SO happy to announce that we are opening a new Lino in Queen’s Park in September, on the lovely Lonsdale Road."

The team added that they were currently looking for head chefs, managers and other staff to join the business ahead of the relaunch.

Lino was launched back in 2018 by Kitty Hawk operator Wright & Bell Limited, and was led at the time by former The Dairy head chef Richard Falk.

However, in June last year it was reported that Wright & Bell had entered administration, and the restaurant eventually announced its closure in September.

At the time, the restaurant said: "We know that will come as a shock. A truly difficult time for everyone in hospitality has been further compounded by a lack of workforce guests (our bread and butter in the city) and a landlord who is unable to support us through the recovery. We did everything we could to continue, but ultimately it just wasn’t possible."
