The group, which runs 10 venues throughout Staffordshire, Shropshire and Cheshire, including Willow at Trentham, The Orange Tree in Stoke on Trent, and The Swan with Two Necks in Blackbrook, is offering the incentive for successful new venue acquisitions to meet demand.
The company plans to invest £15m to open 10 additional sites by 2025, doubling its portfolio, but says it is battling to find suitable venues to meet the demand for expansion.
It is seeking large destination, ‘drive-to’ pub venues close to main roads with good visibility and a large garden space. The venue itself should have a minimum of 100 covers and carparking for 70. Freeholds are preferred.
In addition, retail or ‘edge of town’ locations with high footfall, visibility and a minimum of 80 covers are also being sought, either as leaseholds or freeholds.
“It’s an exciting time for the Parogon Group; we have a great selection of hugely popular restaurants, but we’re keen to bring our award-winning recipe to other areas. However, there seems to be a shortage of sites that work for us,” says Phil Sharp, property director at Parogon Group.
“We know that there’s no one better to show us those hidden gems than those who live in the local communities so we’re asking people to get in touch if they know a suitable venue for the next Parogon restaurant.”
