The Venue Group (TVG) is to launch a new Bankside restaurant in the space that previously occupied Flat Iron Square.

Launching later this month, Audrey's will be an all-day café and bar that will be inspired by modern bistros, with an emphasis on using 'British, organic and sustainably sourced produce'.

The 1,300 Sq Ft site will offer 'informal drinking and dining' throughout the day and into the evenings with additional outside seating.

Audrey's menu will offer both dine in and takeaway options menu, although dishes on details remain under wraps at the time of writing.

Drinks will include a concise cocktail menu, as well as a range of modern wines from independent, biodynamic and organic producers.

“With a location that’s hard to beat, a short hop from Borough Market and with a wealth of Bankside cultural activities on our doorstep, we are eager to flip the open sign on this new addition to the capital’s dining scene,” says Kyle Shannon Lindsay, general manager.

The announcement of Audrey's comes after TVG relocated Flat Iron Square, which it first launched in 2016, from its original location on the corner of Southwark Bridge Road and Union Street to a space a mere 200 feet on Southwark Street back in January.

TVG also operates Goods Way food hall and music venue in King's Cross.
