It is adding seven new vendors to the alley, which is the main entrance to the venue, from next week to ‘make space for even more of London’s independent culinary talent’.
New entrants include Uzbek Dumpling Bar, an Uzbek spin on the dumpling from chef and Oshpaz founder Muzaffar Sadykov; Naanstop Express from Curry on Naanstop, which will serve a range of innovative Mumbai snacks including a toastie; and Ong Ong Buns, which will serve its range of Hong Kong buns and Malaysian snacks.
There will also be a number of sweet options available, including the return of Wheelcake Island (pictured), which specialises in Asian wheelcakes that are available in options including azuki bean, vanilla custard, and matcha.
Joining it are soft serve ice cream players Soft Serve Society; Belgian Waffle operator Deekenek; and Boolay Crepes, the sister brand to Yolkin Ice Cream and Bakery, which will serve blow torched crème brûlée coned crepes in flavours such as original, coconut and matcha.
Seven Dials Market opened in Covent Garden in October 2019 and is currently home to a number of street food operators including El Pollote, Truffle, Longboys, Yum Bun, Bad Boy Pizza, Nanban and Club Mexicana.
