The 40-cover unit serves a menu of primarily gin and tequila-based cocktails, and is located directly adjacent to the recently launched Three Uncles restaurant in the market.
"Opening our first permanent bar has been extremely overwhelming," says Jonathan Gomma, who founded Beetle Juice Cocktails back in 2012 with his brother Julien and their friend Harry Sloan.
The concept sees old VW camper vans converted into mobile cocktail bars for events, with the business now operating a fleet of 16 vans that are available for hire across the country.
"Our inspiration to [open a bar] has sprouted from our events business, whereby we operate a fleet of mobile cocktail bars, which are all drivable, brandable and unique in their fit outs," continues Jonathan.
"We deliver a variety of events including brand activations, private parties and some of the UK's biggest festivals such as Formula One, Taste of London and Creamfields."
The menu in Brixton includes a spicy mango margarita with tequila, lime, agave, mango and chilli; the eponymous BeetleJuice, which features gin, apple, lychee liqueur, lime and raspberry; and a Kentucky Mule with Bulleit Bourbon, fiery ginger beer, lemon, sugar and bitters.
"Finally we have a place called home whereby we can share our creations with everyone," adds Jonathan.
