Opening in May, the new pizza shop will offer click & collect, takeaway and delivery on items including its pizza dough sandwiches, such ‘The Grand Slamwich’ made with prosciutto from parma, mozzarella, rocket and sweet tomato confit; and the ‘Hamela Anderson’ with ham, provola and cooked mushrooms; as well as a range of pizzas, antipasti, pasta and desserts.
Big Mamma Group launched Napoli Gang in August 2020 as a delivery-only concept in response to the enforced restaurant closures during the Covid-19 pandemic. Since then, it has expanded to operate across London in locations including Shoreditch, Kentish Town, Wandsworth, Acton and now Ladbroke Grove, as well as overseas in cities such as Paris, Lille, Lyon, Marseille and Madrid.
The move is part of Big Mamma’s continued push in the capital. The group, which operates the Gloria, Ave Mario and Circolo Popolare is set to open its fourth London site in the capital in High Street Kensington. Understood to be located in a former bank, the restaurant will have around 200-covers, similar in size to its debut London restaurant Gloria.
