Casamia and Decimo chef Peter Sanchez-Iglesias will open a taco truck on The Standard, London’s The Rooftop early next month.

Like its older sibling Decimo - which is located downstairs on the trendy King's Cross hotel's 10th floor - Decimiño will combine Spanish and Mexican influences.

Tacos include stewed chicken with pico de gallo and avocado with negros fregoles (refried beas) and cheese and will be served alongside 'light bites' including nachos, salchichon and maldon oysters.

Drinks will include Spicy Tommy’s margarita with blanco tequila, chilli, lime and agave nectar; rum punch and espresso martini on tap; as well as The Standard’s signature mango margarita and Aperol slushies.

The Rooftop will be open seven days a week for walk-ins but will also take reservations. The space will open from 4pm Monday to Thursday and from 1pm Friday to Sunday.

A DJ line-up will be announced shortly, with the The Rooftop billed as a ‘perfect hangout for sundowners, late night frivolities and Sunday sessions against one of the best backdrops in the city’.

Sanchez-Iglesias - who made his name with his Michelin-starred Casmia and Paco’s Tapas restaurants in Bristol - launched Decimo in 2019.
