Located adjacent to the Welford Road Stadium, home of the famous Leicester Tigers rugby team, the 191-room hotel will be inspired by the New York borough when it opens in June.
First announced in June 2020, like its sister property in Manchester, the hotel design will have an industrial aesthetic but larger public spaces.
At the heart of the hotel will be The Lair, an open plan bar, restaurant and working space as well as a stepped seating area called The Grandstand, which will show live sport and host social movies and acoustic music sessions.
There will also be a120-cover restaurant with a theatre-style open kitchen.
The hotel will feature a number of skyline suites, rooms with hot-tub terraces and executive suites with free-standing baths, and dog-friendly rooms.
“The opening of Hotel Brooklyn, Leicester is probably more exciting than opening our first hotel in Manchester'', says Paul Baylisss, regional general manager of the Hotel Brooklyn Brand, Bespoke Hotel.
''The hotel has all of what the Brooklyn brand stands for, plus a magnificent array of public spaces. I’m certain Leicester will be very pleased indeed”.
Hotel Brooklyn opened in Manchester in 2020.
