Soho House will finally open a venue on Brighton seafront later this month seven-and-a-half years after its plans were first mooted.

Situated on Madeira Drive in a Grade II-listed building, Little Beach House Brighton will feature a terrace pool looking out to sea; a club space with a bar; a Club Cecconi’s-branded restaurant serving a menu of Northern Italian dishes, and event spaces.

It will be Soho House's third site outside of London and its first coastal location.

"So many of our existing members live in Brighton, so it seemed like a natural step to open a local House in the city. It is a brilliant place, full of progressive spirit that our members love," says Nick Jones, Soho House founder and CEO.

Soho House first set out plans to open in Brighton back in 2014 when it had intended to put bring its brands including Chicken Shop, Dirty Burger and Pizza East to the city.

The glass-fronted House’s design will take inspiration from the surrounding seaside ambience and local Art Deco architecture. It will be connected to a courtyard that will house a co-working space, Soho Works, which will launch later this year.

Soho Mentorship Brighton, Soho House’s 16-week mentoring programme that connects young people in the city with Soho House members to grow their connections, confidence and experience will launch at the House in May. Each mentee is awarded a Soho House membership to help grow their network, and members who take part will receive training on how to deliver advice and coaching.
