Eater London has confirmed the launch of Paradiso, which serves a range of Neapolitan-style pizzas priced £6-10.
The restaurant is located on 13 New College Parade, near the Deliveroo Editions dark kitchen in Swiss Cottage.
Deliveroo, which is back by Amazon, has previously said its first site to open for dine-in would help it better understand the operational side of running a restaurant and delivery service.
In January, a Deliveroo spokesperson told the Wall Street Journal that it wanted to 'understand restaurants’ pain points with the aim of solving them […] and to do this by having a deep understanding of restaurant owners’ mind-set'.
The venture is supposed to deepen staff expertise and understanding of restaurant management to better serve our partners, the delivery company added.
Options on the Paradiso menu include starters of garlic bread; breaded mushrooms; and dough wedges.
The range of pizzas, meanwhile, include marinara; ham and mushroom; and aubergine and ricotta.
A selection of salads and desserts is also available.
In 2018, MCA, BigHospitality's sister site, revealed how Deliveroo planned to follow the example of other tech companies and create its ‘own content’, with 'hyper-personalized food produced by Deliveroo'
