Nye started his career at St John’s Tavern as a chef de partie before going on to work at Moro as well as Morito and then becoming a head chef at Copita.
He also spent four years in Paris as head chef at Yard, where the restaurant was awarded a Michelin Bib Gourmand for three consecutive years and has also worked at restaurants in London including Nuala, Koya, One Leicester Street, and St John Chinatown.
He has also been awarded the Medaille de la Ville de Paris for his services to bistronomie.
Nye will oversee the food offer at The Bradley Hare, which has a ‘dine anywhere’ environment and which includes a main bar, a dining area called The Snug, and its private dining room Skittle Alley.
The Bradley Hare, located in Maiden Bradley in Wiltshire, opened in June last year and serves a menu using local and seasonal ingredients, many of which are grown in Maiden Bradley Community allotment. Dishes include lamb loin and crispy pork belly from the estate farmers as well as smoked haddock; barbecued asparagus with ricotta; and wood-fired shallots.
