Open to candidates of all levels, Wok School provides 'aspiring chefs with all the skills needed to pursue a career behind a wok' at the national Thai restaurant group, with a guaranteed full-time chef role at Rosa’s Thai for each applicant upon completion of the course.
There are three programmes on offer of three, five and 10 days which candidates can take part in depending on their existing experience. All participants are paid £11.45 per hour (including service charge) for the duration of the course.
Classes are being taught by the group's most experienced wok chefs within a dedicated space on the lower ground floor of Rosa’s Thai’s Fitzrovia site.
Open to diners Monday to Friday from 12-3pm, the menu changes daily according to the training programme and includes dishes such as pad Thai, red Thai curry and chilli and basil stir fry.
Guests are encouraged to offer feedback to help all candidates gain the most they can from the scheme. Rosa’s Thai Warren Street is continuing to serve the full Rosa' Thai menu in the upstairs restaurant.

Rosa’s Thai was founded in Spitalfields in 2008 by Alex and Saiphin Moore and now operates 25 restaurants in London, Liverpool, Leeds, Birmingham and Manchester, with launches in York and Cardiff expected early this year.
