The 2022 Michelin star revelation ceremony for Great Britain & Ireland will take place next month as part of a two-day event on 15 and 16 February.

As with last year, the event will be held digitally, and will also include the announcement of new green stars, which highlights restaurants that are leaders in sustainability practices.

The new Michelin stars and green stars will be revealed on Wednesday 16 February at 10am UK time.

This will follow the announcement of special awards including chef-mentor, young chef, service, sommelier and newcomer, which will take place the day before on Tuesday 15 February at 10am.

A further announcement, revealing the new Bib Gourmand restaurants, will take place ahead of the Michelin star revelation ceremony on Friday 11 February at 10am.

“Naturally we are disappointed that we are unable to host this event in person, as we know how much everyone enjoys these occasions,” says Gwendal Poullennec, international director of the Michelin Guides

“However, we can promise you that these days will be full of exciting news, as we have many wonderful new awards to reveal.”

An exclusive interview with a newly-starred chefs will be posted by Michelin on Thursday 17 February.

The full Great Britain & Ireland Michelin Guide 2022 will be published in digital format on 16 February, both on the UK and Ireland websites and on the iOS and Android apps.
