Riva Blu will replace D'Acampo's restaurants in Liverpool, Manchester Corn Exchange, Birmingham and Leeds (Park Row), and launch at the end of January.
A further Gino D'Acampo restaurant in Harrogate will also be closed and rebranded under Individual Restaurants's Piccolino concept.
“We are extremely excited to introduce Riva Blu restaurants," says Karen Forrester, CEO of Individual Restaurant Company.
"Riva Blu continues to deliver authentic Italian food and experience with all our existing teams at the helm and we look forward to welcoming both existing and new guests.”
The move will leave Individual Restaurants with three sites operating under the D'Acampo brand in Manchester Arndale, Hull and Leeds (The Springs).
D'Acampo's eponymous group of restaurants were bought out before the pandemic by Iceland supermarket boss Sir Malcolm Walker who controls Ice Acquisitions, which owns Individual Restaurants.
In May last year, the celebrity chef partnered with Spanish hotel brand INNSiDE by Meliá to launch a series of restaurants and bars across its growing UK estate.
This led to the launch of ‘upmarket’ Italian restaurant Luciano, named after D’Acampo's first born son, within The Strand-based ME London hotel. A second restaurant under the brand is set to launch in Cheshire next week, having taken over a prime Piccolino site in Alderley Edge.
Meanwhile, earlier this month D’Acampo’s London-based My Pasta Bar brand went into liquidation with debts of £5m.
