Carlos Piñeres has been named as head chef of Mayfair-based female members’ club AllBright.

He will oversee a menu with a particular focus on Mediterranean and Latin influences at the restaurant, which is open only to club members.

Piñeres started his career as a chef in 2015 when he attended Le Cordon Bleu in Madrid. In 2016, he moved to London to continue his studies on the British campus of the same school, focusing on pastry and culinary management.

His CV includes working at Basque restaurant Lurra in London in 2017 where he was chef de partie and at Sabor on Mayfair’s Heddon Street, where he took on the role of chef de partie and worked his way up to head chef. Other roles have included development chef at Flor De Sal Catering and executive sous chef at Sunday In Brooklyn in London.

He also had a stint at Michelin star Madris restaurant La Cabra and co-founded a street-food pop-up dining business in Cartagena in Colombia.

“I am thrilled to become a member of this community of brilliant, hardworking and excellent, driven people. As part of the club, my team and I will be focused on giving the best culinary experience to all the members,” he says.

AllBright is a free digital community and female members’ club that was founded by Debbie Wosskow, founder of Love Home Swap, and Anna Jones, former CEO at Hearst Magazines. The Mayfair club is located on Maddox Street and spans five floors, including two large roof terraces.
