Spotlight will feature a series of limited edition menus that focus on different themes and narratives throughout the year beginning with 'emerging chefs', which will put chefs without a restaurant space of their own front and centre.
Kicking off the campaign is Ling Lings – a cult pop-up in east London pub The Gun that's run by Jenny Phung (pictured).
The month-long menu champions modern Chinese cuisine, with four courses for £55 including prawn, chicken and Thai basil wontons; smoky bavette noodles with pork puffs and pickles; and matcha and white chocolate tiramisu.
Following this will be menus from chef Paris Rosina, who is known for her retro-inspired dinners that can include dishes like chicken Kiev and Russian salad; and the Brixton-based smokehouse Ruben’s Reubens, which is run by Ruben Daw.
"We carefully choose who we partner with – from renowned to emerging chefs, we strive to share food with our customers that’s interesting, delicious and authentic," says Pete Butler, CEO and co-founder of Dishpatch.
"It’s all about the flavour and the story behind the chef."
Dishpatch was founded by Butler and James Terry in March 2020, as the first Coronavirus lockdown was coming into effect, as a way for restaurant suppliers affected by the pandemic to sell their produce to the public.
Since then the pair have partnered with a number of chefs and restaurateurs to create and deliver DIY meal kits nationwide.
