The team behind Spanish restaurant group Lobos Tapas is launching Soho-based restaurant and wine bar Negroni’s.

Located at 15 Frith Street, the new Italian bar and restaurant will open on soft launch from 14 December and serve a range of Italian food, wines and cocktails.

Dishes will include small bites and plates such as porcini arancino; bruschetta; tuna meatballs; and salmon carpaccio alongside larger plates that include fried calamari and Kataifi prawns; beef fillet served with rosemary potatoes and spinach; grilled lamb chops with broccoli, and mashed potato; and grilled Yellowfish tuna with asparagus cream, caramelised red onion and pine nuts.

It will also serve a selection of pizza and pasta dishes, including potato gnocchi with blue cheese reduction, radicchio, guanciale, and walnuts; pappardelle pasta with pork sausage, porcini mushrooms, tomato sauce, and Parmesan cheese; and a Golosa pizza of butternut squash cream, Pecorino Romano cheese, pork sausage, confit cherry tomatoes, and smoked mozzarella.

As the name suggests there will also be a range of Negronis on offer, including a sbagliato made with prosecco, and americano with soda water; and an espresso Negroni made with Kahlua and gomme syrup.

An all-Italian/Sicilian wine list curated by Master of Wine by Peter McCombie starts at £6 for a glass of Sicilian Grillo Il Folle 2020 rising to £110 for a bottle of Maestro Riserva Amarone 2013 from Venice.
