The group, which is led by Andy Laurillard, recently launched its 40th restaurant location in Hornchurch, Essex.
It continues the ambitious growth plans of the BGF-backed business, which recently added Mere Green and West Bridgford to its Midlands cohort, and has Chelmsford and Welwyn Garden City due to trade before the end of the year.
In addition to arriving in Hornchurch, Giggling Squid is launching two further London-based delivery kitchens, in partnership with Deliveroo Editions, to sit alongside the one it currently has in Wandsworth, which launched just before the pandemic in March 2020.
The new kitchens, in Acton and Brent Cross, reflect the groups 'considerable growth' in its takeaway business over the past 18 months, targeting London boroughs where the brand does not currently have a restaurant presence.
“In what has been the most turbulent times for hospitality we’re delighted we are in a position to open new restaurants," says Laurillard.
"We take our offering to where we feel we can add real value to the food scene and so we’re excited to reach new communities with our Giggling Squid experience.”
