Al Dente pasta restaurant to launch second restaurant, in The City
Handmade pasta specialist Al Dente has opened a second dine-in site following the success of its original Goodge Street restaurant and dark kitchens business.

In the City’s Monument Square, the new site will seat 12 covers inside and a further 12 al fresco. It will also offer pasta dishes for the area's workers to take away.

Freshly made in house, key pasta dishes will include spaghettoni carbonara; fusilli with pesto; gnocchi ai quattro formaggi; and the group’s signature dish Ravioli Al Dente (spinach-infused ravioli filled with a sweet and savoury ricotta, mushroom and truffle fondue).

Launched just off Tottenham Court Road in 2018 by Filippo Gallenzi, Al Dente now runs dark kitchens in Wood Green, Hackney, and Waterloo.

“We are so excited to bring our traditional hand crafted pasta to Monument, and expand our family. We will never compromise on flavour, or quality, and will continue to hand make all of our pastas for this new location, to bring both the flavours and cultural traditions to a brand new location,” says Gallenzi.

“We are especially looking forward to the flexibility that this new location offers, allowing us to focus both on feeding hungry office workers a quick, and satisfying lunch, as well as inviting guests to indulge in an afternoon aperitivo on our terraced seating and intimate in door tables.”
